Details

After years of development and testing, we are excited to present you with the IncuView egg incubator.  The IncuView™ has been designed to be an affordable alternative to other expensive plastic tabletop incubators on the market today.

The IncuView™ egg incubator comes with many of the same features that the high-end, expensive incubators have, yet at a fraction of the cost. We have designed the IncuView™ to help you  manage the critical factors that influence the success of your hatch:

Temperature

The proportional thermostat automatically controls the temperature by varying the amount of power that is supplied to the 40 watt heater instead of simply turning the heater off and on. This provides more precise temperature control over a standard on/off thermostat, and thus improves hatch rates. The IncuView™ also comes preset at 99.5 degrees F which is recommended for most eggs, yet can be easily adjusted if necessary, and a digital display makes it easy to read the current temperature.

Humidity

Built-in humidity rings and dial hygrometer (for humidity monitoring) allows the user to easily control humidity.  The humidity guage doesn’t just display the humidity percent, it shows you what range you should keep your humidity at for each phase of the incubation cycle.  The flow-over humidity rings make it easy to fill just one, two, or all three humidity rings.

Egg Turning

The built-in automatic egg turner gently rolls the eggs six times per day (number of turns is adjustable), which prevents the yolk from settling while exercising the embryo.  This rolling action is a close copy to how eggs are turned in nature.  The universal tray also allows any size egg up to goose (27 Chicken*, 49 Quail*, 17 Goose*

*Capacity may vary based on egg size

Hatching Period

The built in hatch timer keeps track of the days so you don’t have to.  The clear dome lid allows for a panoramic view of the eggs, offering a great hatching experience. The durable plastic construction makes the IncuView™ easy to clean.

The IncuView™ operates on low 12 Volt DC power and includes an AC-to-DC converter that works with both 110/120v and 220/240v power input. In case of power outages, the IncuView™ can also be powered with a 12V battery (additional battery connectors required).

As always, all of our products are covered by our One-year Hassle-free Guarantee. Purchase today with no worries and experience the IncuView™ egg incubator for yourself.

Love my incuview
I like being able to see the babies really well when they hatch. When I received my incubator the hygrometer did not work. I called and was sent a new hygrometer but it did not work either, so I purchased one to put inside, which I think is more accurate anyway. I think it is quite pricy for what it is, seems like it should cost less. I am quite nervous when I have to take it apart to wash it, I am always afraid that I will break or crack something. So good, so far though.

Best Incubator Ever!
Bought this as my first incubator after a massively failed hatch last season in a cheaper styrofoam model. I compared brands and models for a year when I came across this one. Set up is simple and attractive, instructions are clear, automatic turner and hygrometer reading was a blessing, unit was quiet, and the success of my first try was phenomenal. We hatched 23 out of 27, and that was because the other 4 quit about halfway through development. Plus, the see through lid made viewing throughout the entire process an amazing experience. Imagine 5 of us crowded around it watching for pips and cracks. Made the entire hatch process enjoyable for everyone instead of only one at a time being able to peek through a tiny window.

If you have any doubts about price or quality...DON'T! This is the perfect egg hatching unit. It is solidly made and worth every penny. Just think of the wasted money you would spend on a slightly less expensive model, only to have to buy another later. It did not come in a box other than the one it was shipped in, but you can store it just as easily in the shipping box. Lid turns upside down and sits in the base for storage, and the turner arm removes easily, as it is only held in place with a strong pin. Unit comes with a plastic grid that separates the turning tray and the water reservoirs, which I prefer to the wire ones that are sharp and can rust with extended use. Digital thermostat was preset and stayed consistent until the last week when it tended to run half a degree hot, so I left out the air hole plug the entire time and everything registered just fine. Hygrometer reading was correct as far as my hatch went, so I would say trust the unit and don't add extra measuring tools, as that was what I did with the old styrofoam unit, and not a one was consistent. Instructions say to leave turning tray in during hatch, which I was apprehensive about at first, but it actually kept the eggs from being soccer balled around during hatch, which was important while 23 eggs were hatching all at once. Turning arm is supposed to stop the turner automatically when the digital reading reaches 3 days, but mine continued to turn on day 3, so I simply pulled the pin and removed the turning arm. May have had the setting wrong, but it looked correct. Just things to watch for when using automatic units.

Overall I give this incubator a 5 star rating and would recommend it to anyone looking to purchase for the first time or even replace a failing unit of another make.

Great incubator!
This is my first incubator. First batch of eggs pulled out of the chicken coop....mixed breeds, free range chickens. Candled eggs after 7 days and determined 6 were fertile. At 20 days started pipping and the next day 6 healthy chicks! Second round had 10 fertile eggs out of the coop...9 hatched. Can not ask for anything better!

Excellent Incubator
Extremely easy to set up your standard incubator and having the ability to have heat, fan, thermostat and humidity easy to read and a excellent viewing top for grandkids and myself to observe is a huge plus. Thank you for making a great product at a reasonable price.

Temperature stayed steady, humidity gauge made it easy to know when to add water and egg turner worked flawlessly.
First time usage we picked 12 eggs from the chicken coop. Have two roosters and 14 hens so these are mixed breeds. After 7 days candled the eggs and found we had 6 fertile eggs. At twenty days the first chick popped out and the remaining five were out on the morning of day 21. Chicks seem healthy and very lively.

Worked for chickens!
The instructions were easy enough. There is an LCD display that shows temperature, hatch timer and allows for setting changes. I think the defaults were fine, maybe I had to turn egg turning on. The incubator hovered the temps between 98.7 and 100.3. Out of 15 eggs 9 hatched. But that is a 100% hatch rate because after 1 week I removed 6 eggs because they were never fertile to start. I am doing some more this year (2017) The hydrometer worked. Only add a little bit of water ( like a tablespoon at a time) I don't know if the hydrometer was accurate or not, but it worked so I'm going with it. Overall, yeah get one, you won't be sorry.

Great hatch rate!
Price a little high, however, my first batch with this incubator was excellent. Good strong chicks with over 75% hatch rate. Much better than my Farm Innovator incubator

A few kinks, but overall excellent for the price.
This is the first incubator I've purchased. Previously I had been hatching out of home made incubators, which worked great, but I decided I was really tired of turning all my eggs by hand. The only things I really don't like too much about this incubator is the humidity display doesn't show percentages, just "add water" "incubation" "hatching" ranges, which doesn't work the best when you are incubating different birds that all need different humidity amounts. So I had to add my own hydrometer which meant it took up room in the tray so I can't add quite as many eggs (not a big deal). Also the turning arm is a little rod that goes in a circular motion, one half circle at a time, which means when the arm is nearest to the wall of the incubator it doesn't actually turn the eggs (it's trying to push against the wall), and when it does the other half circle that does roll the eggs they only roll about 45 degrees which isn't enough in my opinion. I can also only increase the turns to about 8 times a 24hr period, which for the first week of incubation is low. So I add a daily 180 degree hand turn. Overall the quality is good, I love that it's not styrofoam, and for the price I think it's a good little unit. It was a bit loud when I first plugged it in but after running for a bit it got quieter. I don't think anyone will get much better for the price if they aren't keen on styrofoam. A few adjustments from the company even if it means increasing the cost a bit will make this one of the best value incubators available.

Excellent results!
I have now had two successful hatches with hard to hatch breeds with this incubator, far better results than with any other brand I have tried.
The instructions that come with it are terrible, and the settings are a little complicated to alter, and I still can't figure out how to activate the hatch timer, but it could be used as is..plug in and go.
The built in hygrometer seems to be adequate.
It is very easy to clean.
It smelled strongly of chemicals when it arrived, but a wash and some airing out made me feel better about putting eggs in it.
For the price, you cannot beat this incubator, and I think it is on par with more expensive brands, and it far outstrips the styrofoam models.

Best incubator I've used by far!
By far the best incubator I have used. I'm on my 4 th round of eggs set and have had amazing results. First hatch I had 13 of 14 hatch. Second hatch had 6 out of 7 hatch! I have used the hovabator and another fully automatic bator with very poor results. I plan on purchasing a couple more of these!! My only wish is that the company could make one of these to hold at least 40 eggs or a little more comparable to some of the other table tops.

First owned incubator wins me over to the addiction of hatching birds!
I got this wicked little machine for Fathers day 2014 from my family and its now Sept and I am going on my third hatch. I have turned eggs by hand manually and I have also used the egg turner. This very simple to use incubator is a must have for the beginner chicken keeper or any breeder who would like the convenience of hatching their chicks right from their bedroom. Compact & complex very nice design and no styrofoam parts. This is exactly what I was looking for in an incubator and I am so glad to own it.

**What a Great Product!!**
Just finished up with a fantastic chick hatch - now have 1 duck and 4 goose eggs in. I purchased this product for our school because of the nice viewing area. This is my 2nd time hatching - last year we had 36 eggs and only 6 hatched in a borrowed older Hovabator. This year we had 21 fertilized eggs and 20 hatched!!! - the one that did not hatch was in a position that made it unable to "pip" and "zip" according to my vet opening it up to check why it didn't make it. The results speak for themselves - already have a farmer wishing to borrow it for a hatch!! Thanks and keep up the great product.

Good product and customer service
My IncuView was damaged during shipping and customer service did a great job shipping a replacement right away. They were also very helpful with my novice questions.
I've had 3 hatches, 2 with shipped eggs and have had great results. I currently have 18 turkey eggs incubating. I did find the temperature was running a bit high, but that was an easy fix. My other issue is, it only holds 27 chicken eggs. I solved that by adding a hatcher. For a novice, I think the IncuView is easy to use. One feature I particularly like is being able to turn off the auto egg turner with a few pushes of a button and not needing to remove it. I would recommend it.

Superior Success!
Moving from a Farm Innovators still air to this Incuview is like swapping up from a Yugo to a Corvette! Yeah, there are better models out there still, but most of those "lamborginis" are way out of my budget, while this Incuview is perfect for the price. Unlike my old styrofoam still air, which take a good 12+ hours to make sure it's running stable and ready for eggs, the Incuview is good to go in an hour or less. By the time my shipped eggs have settled from their journey, the incubator is ready to receive them. Speaking of shipped eggs, the last few times I hatched shipped eggs in my still air, I got, at best, a 5-10% hatch rate. This last batch done in my Incuview managed a 55% hatch rate! Granted, hatching from shipped is a dicey business, and success depends on how the eggs were handled throughout their journey, but getting five eggs to hatch from four separate shipments, versus SIXTEEN from two shipments speaks for itself, I think.
The humidity levels were easy to keep steady - easier than my old styrofoam incubator! - although the built in humidity gauge in my Incuview read just a bit higher than it actually was, as calibrated by a couple other different gauges. The temps were MUCH steadier than in my old still air, and the turner worked beautifully. Being able to do different sized eggs without having to change rails is absolutely GENIUS.
The controls were simple, but you will want to read all the directions and use the enclosed charts to sort out a few settings, as they aren't perfectly intuitive... but those extra settings and ability to make adjustments not available with other similarly priced or much cheaper incubators is WORTH any slight and brief moments of confusion as you learn what does what. My only complaint about the controls is that the decal which covers the input buttons is a little tight, and I had to actually add a thin gasket of felt and foam in order to give the buttons clearance, otherwise, when the decal was fully seated, ALL THREE buttons were continually depressed, which sent my Incuview into fits of confusion. It was super easy tweak, however, and now everything works beautifully.
My only complaint about the value is that, for the materials used - heat formed plastics, stock motor, and plastic canvas - the price could be a bit better. The custom circuitry and heater set-up, I'm sure, is the most expensive portion of the unit, however, given that you can get a circulated air styrofoam model with egg turners for $100-$120, it would be nice to see the Incuview more around the $150 price-point to compete a bit better. That being said, my sixteen new baby Cream Legbar chicks think that it was worth every penny!

purchase this wonderful incubator
I have successfully completed a first hatch using the IncuView incubator. I put in 20 chicken eggs from my own flock. 4 turned out infertile or stopped growing early on. That left 16 to make it to lockdown/hatch time. I kept humidity around 50-70% the entire incubation time & raised it to 80% for hatching time. I was very pleased with how well it held humidity and I only had to add water a few times ! The rolling/turning mechanism worked great, even for tiny bantam eggs. LOVED being able to have a full view of the entire incubation & hatch process. I had 15 baby chicks to successfully hatch out !! That's almost a 100% hatch ratio for this inexperienced hatcher. Very pleased with this product and am encouraging a friend of mine to get an IncuView. She's had terrible hatches with a Hovabator/styrofoam type. Please feel free to share my review, to help encourage other people to purchase this wonderful incubator.

excellent,recommend company and incubator
prompt delivery, function 100%, helps if you are digital savvy and know how to key program things, like operating a microwave, you have choices, sponge or wick setup necessary to increase humidity for hatch, would help if it was insulated to prevent the high humidity condensing , but no problem, I slipped a slice or terry towel into the reservoir and up the side pinched in place by cover this worked. Highly recommended , very satisfied so far , one hatch done

Product Questions

Product Questions

For the IncuView incubator, do I remove the vent plug during lockdown for increased air circulation?

Yes, with the IncuView and other incubators it is always a good idea to remove the vent plug for increased air flow and oxygen for the hatching chicks.

Rate the answer?
How much room is there on the inside the incubator, from the bottom of the incubator to the top of the plastic lid at the highest point?

Inside the IncuView there is 5 inches of head room from the mesh floor to the highest point of the lid and about 3 1/4 inches from the mesh floor to the fan.
