Made of durable styrofoam to help retain warmth and keep a constant temperature. Incubators feature two 4 in x 8 in viewing windows-ideal for educational purposes-and solid state thermostat control, thermometer and moisture rings. This deluxe model includes an easy to install circulated air fan kit. The fan kit improves egg hatching conditions by circulating a constant flow of warm air throughout the incubator. Helps maintain a constant temp of 99.5 degrees F. Did you know that at any given time the temperature in your Little Giant Still Air incubator (9200) can vary by up to 5 degrees from the top and bottom and from the center to the corners? In addition, you get variation from the thermostat cycling the heating unit on and off. This temperature variation has a significant impact on you hatch rates. Heat naturally rises, so you need to circulate the hot air from the hot spots to the cool spots for a much more uniform and consistent temperature and better hatch results. The more consistent air temperature also ensures that your thermostat is cycling on and off at the appropriate times, not just when the air around the thermostat heats or cools.

The Genesis Hova-Bator is pre-set for bird eggs. Simply plug it in, then add water and eggs. Nothing to set up or adjust. This circulated air Hova-Bator comes with a thermometer, plastic bottom liner, and is pre-set to 99. F (38 C). Like all incubators, the 1588 requires a stable room temperature and should not be used in areas like sheds or barns. Being pre-set, this incubator delivers consistently good hatches.

-Although it is pre-set to 99 F, the thermostat can be adjusted. The 1588 can be set as low as 80 F. for use with reptiles.
