The 1550 HATCHER incubator is designed to allow for the best hatching conditions. Unlike setting incubators, hatchers usually operate at slightly different temperature and humidity settings to obtain optimum hatch. With five hatching drawers the 1550 Hatcher will hold the complete setting of the 1500 incubator. For expanding operations the 1550 can be matched with up to three 1500 incubators. The 1550 can be used to set eggs, but each egg will have to be turned by hand. For small chicks such as quail, each hatching tray comes with a tray cover except for the bottom drawer. This listing is for brand new cartridge-style heaters. These heaters work well for heating cabinet incubators. They are each 3/8" diameter x 8" long (203mm). This listing is for the 220/240V 125 Watt version. We have another listing for a 110/120V version. The cartridge is made of Stainless Steel tubing. The electrical connection wires are a full 24" long with fiberglass insulation; the first 2 inches have an extra silicone sealing.

These liners fit the No. 0528 and 0534 brooders and provide a cushioned liner as well as firm footing for newly hatched chicks. These liners are 2-ply heavy paper. The top ply has been treated with a mild germicide to control bacteria and suppress odors.
