Product Description:

Candling eggs is one of the most exciting and important steps in the incubation process. It gives you a front-row seat to the miracle of life unfolding inside each egg. But to truly see the magic, you need a bright, reliable, easy-to-use tool. That's where the Incu-Bright™ Ultra Bright LED Light Egg Candler comes in.

This isn't your average flashlight. The super-bright LED bulb shines light clearly through eggs, even the dark ones (like black copper maran). Whether you're candling dark brown eggs or extra-large ones, you'll be able to see the details you need, like veins, embryos, or air cells. The recessed bulb design cradles the egg gently..

No matter what kind of eggs you're working with, the universal silicone ring makes a perfect seal. This means no light escapes, and you get a clear, focused view of the inside of the egg. It works for any egg size, from tiny quail eggs to giant goose eggs. So you won't need to switch devices or hunt for attachments.

Traditional candlers or flashlights can get hot, which is bad news for delicate eggs. But the IncuBright™ uses LED technology that stays cool, so you can spend as much time candling as you want without risking damage to your eggs.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Do I need to turn off the lights when using it?

Yes, using the candler in a dark room will give you the best visibility and make it easier to see details inside the egg.

  • Why can’t I see anything inside my egg?

This could mean the egg is not fertile, it’s too early in development, or the shell is too thick. Try candling again a few days later in a dark room for better visibility.

  • Does the candler need to be cleaned?

Yes, it’s a good idea to wipe the surface with a clean, dry cloth between uses—especially if it comes into contact with eggs—to maintain hygiene.

  • What should I look for when candling?

Early on, look for veins or a dark spot (developing embryo). Later, you’ll see more defined movement and growth. Clear eggs typically indicate they are not developing.

  • Can I see through dark or thick eggs?

The IncuBright is designed to be very bright, making it effective for most eggs, including brown and darker shells. However, visibility may still vary depending on shell thickness.

  • Will the light harm the egg or chick?

No, the LED light is designed to be safe for eggs when used properly and for short periods.

  • Is it safe to candle eggs frequently?

Occasional candling is safe, but it’s best to limit handling to avoid temperature fluctuations and reduce stress on the developing embryo.

  • What does “cool light” mean?

“Cool light” refers to the LED technology used in the IncuBright, which produces very little heat. This helps prevent damage to developing embryos during candling.

  • Can beginners use this candler?

Yes, the IncuBright is very easy to use—simply place the egg over the light and observe. No prior experience is needed.

  • When should I candle my eggs?

Most users candle around days 7–10 to check for fertility, and again around day 14–18 to monitor development. Timing may vary slightly depending on the type of egg.

  • Is the IncuBright™ egg candler I.P rated ? and if so what is the rating ?

We do not have an IP rating on the Incubright™ Egg Candler. This is because in order to allow the egg to rest on the light we had to remove the lens. Thus there is not lens to protect against dust/debris or water.
