QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • What is the low & max humidity this incubator could set?

The AccuHatch Pro Cabinet Incubator's humidity can be set anywhere between 1% to 85%, however the range of the actual humidity that can be achieved varries.
The bottom of the humidity range is restricted by the surface area of the water tray and will also depend on the enviorment that the incubator is in. An incubator in Arizona will be able to achieve a lower humidity than and one located in Florida.
We do not recommend setting the humidity above 60%. The amount of time that the heater in the water tray needs to stay on to reach higher humidity causes the bottom portion of the incubator to get too warm.

  • What is the warranty on the incubator ?

This product has a Full 2-Year Warranty.

  • What are the inner dimensions of the cabinet not including the water holder (looking to put frames of bees inside).

The inside dimensions, not including the water tray: 21.5" wide and 23" tall.

  • Could you incubate and hatch at the same time?

Yes! You can. Each turning shelf is independent, so you can just remove any turner and put the hatching tray in it's place.

  • What are the dimensions?

The outside dimensions of the incubator are 23" wide, 19" deep and 35" tall (not including the water bucket on top).

AccuHatch Pro

AccuHatch Pro is very cumbersome to operate, spend the extra and buy a 1502 Sportsman. Things I do not like about the unit: the door to incubator does not have hinges, so the door has to be taken completely off to load or unload eggs. The unit has 5 trays which are long plastic rods that the eggs lay on, these roller rods can bounce out if you are not careful, Each tray has a wire to it to operate the turning, so you have to plug and unplug every time you take tray out or rotate, trays need to be rotated every 5-6 days so that the eggs incubate evenly per AccuPro manual instructions. In addition the hatch can not be split up with different hatch dates you have to set all eggs at one time for one hatch date. Also the eggs lay flat, I prefer to set them up right like the sportsman 1502. In addition at lock down you have take all the trays out and insert lock down trays with are only about 3-4 inches high with a covers that did not seem to fit well for me and I had chicks jump out of the lock down tray, luckily they did not fall in the water source box at the bottom of the unit, or they would have drowned. If I had known operating this unit would be so difficult I would have never purchased. The best thing about my purchase was Incubator Warehouse they are excellent to deal with. I had a very poor first hatch, 20/150 eggs and it turned out the incubator was defective. I was very disgusted in the loss of hundreds of dollars of potential chicks that I needed to fill orders, scheduled to ship to my customer. Orders had to be delayed and it cost me additional to keep my customers happy. The good news, Incubator Warehouse did a terrific job resolving this issue, I definitely will buy from them again, but not AccuHatch Pro! Their customer service is superb at handling any issues you may have!

first batch - no hatch

The control panel is hard to use and settings don't update the best. Eggs bunch up on the end with the rollers. Put 91 eggs in and got zero to hatch. Humidity is way higher than what it is set to and won't let me adjust it down without resetting everything. Can't figure out after that how to fix the day count. The door doesn't hinge - if you don't know, it comes all the way off every time.
It was fairly easy to assemble. It seems to maintain heat, but I have secondary thermometer and humidity sensor in their.
It arrived quickly, which was the only reason I purchased it, but after a 2,000 mile round trip and zero eggs hatched from my specialty breed I am very bummed with this incubator. Have started a second batch of random farm mix eggs to see, but again.. not super pleased with it so far.

Terrible

Horrible

I’ve had issues with this since the beginning. Temperature will not regulate. Set at 100 and was going to 105 on top while the bottom was lower than 100. Calibration did not resolve the issue. Was told the fan was the issue. They shipped a fan and I replaced it. Issue wasn’t resolved. Was told to do factory reset and calibrate which I tried. Temp was still 103 on top. Tries to recalibrate again and now it will not get above 84 degrees. Asked for a refund and they send only a shipping label. Want you to try to find a box to send it in. Plus keep at the dimensions on the shipping label or extra shipping will be deducted from your refund. This was also stated “Once we receive the unit, we’ll carefully assess it based on the concerns you mentioned and process your refund accordingly.” So even when I send it back no guarantee I will receive a full refund. I’m already out $100’s in hatching eggs. Very dissatisfied. Also after researching online I’m not the only one that’s had issues with this incubator

so far so good

Everything ok so far. on the 20th day. It's been so humid I haven't even had to use any water in the humidity container. added a bit to bring it up to 60% for the remaining 3 days. WE WILL SEE IN A FEW DAYS
