Plastic egg trays offer the most efficient system for gathering, spray disinfectant treating, and storing eggs. At time of setting eggs, just remove loaded egg tray from storage area and place it on the incubator turning rack. The GQF No. 1500 and 1502 incubators are equipped with turning racks that will accomodate plastic trays to hold your eggs in place. Holds any size egg from bantam, to pheasant, to medium chicken egg. Putting a fan inside your incubator is a great way to increase hatch rates, but it is not just as simple as buying a PC fan or a cheap fan kit. There are a few things that you need to keep in mind: Too much air circulation is BAD for eggs (it will dry them out). Think about it, in nature there isn't a fan blowing on eggs. The only reason that an incubator needs the fan is to keep the temperature more consistent (like in nature). BEWARE of CHEAP kits. They often use regular HIGH speed fans. Almost all the fans on the market are designed to move as much air as possible. This is not what you want. If you get too powerful of a fan it can OVERHEAT your incubator. Fans generate heat. Many people have come to check on their eggs only to find them cooked because the fan caused the incubator to overheat. The direction the air flows and the positioning of the fan inside your incubator is critical to maintaining a consistent temperature throughout the incubator. This Egg Turner Motor is perfect for cabinet egg incubator applications, providing very high torque (60 lbs/in) it can easily turn a variety of egg turner designs. The motor is 1 RPM (makes 1 revolution per minute), so it is best used with a timer to prevent overturning your eggs. This motor works great with the IncuKit XL Advanced because they have built-in egg turner timer controls.  The motor shaft has a D shape and also a hole through the shaft for easy egg turner linkage.  110V AC Power.

In our opinion this thermometer should only be used by those that are familiar with Wet Bulb thermometers.  According to GQF This is the most accurate incubator thermometer available and has approximately a 4' stem which can be inserted in a 5/32' hole to permit reading of temperature from outside of incubator. The 2' dial permits easy and accurate reading of temperature and is graduated in one degree increments from 25 degrees to 125 degrees.  Wicks are attached and placed in the humidity pan to allow thermometer to read wet bulb temperatures. THIS THERMOMETER SHOULD BE USED IN CIRCULATED INCUBATORS ONLY.
