This extension worked great for my peafowl eggs. I still had to turn the eggs by hand cause they were too big for the turner but it gave the peafowl plenty of room to stand after they hatched plus it fit perfectly on the nurture 360. Thanks
I expected a solid ring that would sit securely in place on the incubator. The thin white plastic which this part is made from, flops and wobbles and changes shape when it is lifted and while it is being installed. The floppiness makes it awkward to lift the lid off the incubator and replace it, since the riser has enough "give" in it that the lid sometimes slips and comes to rest diagonally INSIDE the incubator endangering its contents. I expected a much sturdier part from Incubator Warehouse. At the least, it could have been made slightly thicker.
This is perfect for the hatching goslings. before this, they just didn’t have much room in the incubator and couldn’t really walk around. They just laid there. This is a game changer.
It’s definitely a must have for the much bigger emu eggs, even the big ones of theirs fit no problem. I also jacked the fan part up a bit all the way around to keep the humidity down.
